Prohibiting order of Elisha fish exporting will be withdrawn to stop smuggling, said Narayan Chandra Chanda, minister of fisheries and livestock.
He declared on Monday in his first press conference after becoming full minister
Government ordered to stop Elisha exporting to other at August 1 in 2012 but the prohibiting order of other fish exporting except Elisha was withdrawn by the Ministry of Commerce September 23 in the same year.
Minister said in the conference that we want to go exporting Elisha because our production is sufficient now and has demanded in the international market.
Yet there is no permission to export Elisha, some people smuggle. So our country deprived of revenue.
